The MCM 400Hz single jacketed, multi-conductor aircraft cable offers significant advantages and cost savings over other ground power cables. The 400Hz Cable is built for longevity with replaceable contacts and nose cover. Cable ratings of 260A and 300A are available as well as connector pushbutton configurations that meet various commercial and military applications.
The MCM 400Hz aircraft cable meets the electrical and environmental requirements of SAE AS5756 (former MIL-C-5756) and the cable head SAE AS7974 (former MIL-C-7974). National Stock numbers are available for the aircraft cable and nose repair kits to ease procurement.
